Shopping System

At Mitsubai Tokyo we are selling items and made-to-order pieces which we consider "hot!".

Privacy Policy

Under the care of Highland, K.K., Mitsubai Tokyo is taking great care to protect the personal information of our customers.

Highland, K.K. is taking responsibility for strictly managing and storing the information we receive from orders (name, address, phone number, email address, etc.), and only use it to answer questions from the inquiry forms, send email and mail orders.

Without using personal information, we do use statistical data gathered on the site for internal marketing material. Beyond this exception, we will not release any information to another party.

Item Delivery and Arrival Date

All items are delivered by the shipping company of our choice to the customer specified address.

Some items are shipped directly to you from their creators. If that is the case, we may inform the creator of your address and contact information to complete the order. Even in the case of multiple item orders, please keep in mind each is shipped individually, and so shipping costs will be incurred per item.

Before ordering furniture and other large items, please make sure a path has been cleared for delivery. In the case the delivery is unable to be completed due to space issues we cannot take responsibility.

Please check the time necessary for delivery on the individual item page, and if you have a preferred delivery date enter it in the message section, allowing a small margin. We do our best to keep the delivery time on the item page up-to-date, but in the case of multiple orders or made-to-order items we may ask for a change to the delivery date. In such a case we will let you know in the "Order Confirmation Message".

Return / Exchange

Items which can be returned / exchanged

If the following two conditions are met, we will accept returns and exchanges:

  • the item is obviously defective
  • You contact us via the Inquiry form within three days of the item's arrival (In the case there is not an available replacement we will give you store credit of the purchase amount)

Items which can not be returned / exchanged

In the following cases we are unable to accept returns or exchanges:

  • items whose details explicitly state returns are not accepted
  • items which have been used or washed
  • items which have been damaged, dirtied, or scratched by the customer
  • items ordered by mistake, are not what you expected, etc.
